Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Area VI Shetland Pony and Miniature Horse Breeders' Association. The Area VI SP&MHBA is a recognized club of the American Shetland Pony Club/American Miniature Horse Registry and is the ASPC/AMHR official club for Area VI. Area VI includes the following states and provinces: Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Western Ontario and Manitoba, Canada.

Our members are involved in many diverse activities with their small equine. Members participate in activities such as shows (both ASPC/AMHR sanctioned and open), parades, clinics, horse fairs, nursing home visits, day care visits, and sales. As a club we sponsor shows, clinics, banquets, fundraisers, meetings and other promotional events. Information about club sponsored activities can be found on our Coming Events page.

Area VI Shetland Pony and Miniature Horse Breeders' Association members are eligible to take part in all of our club activities and the club also offers awards for those who participate in Area VI SP&MHBA Circuit Shows.
